Delia was looking for her real father and left her brother and papa behind. Since she couldn’t find him, she realizes her real father was at home waiting for her. After all he raised and loved her as his own. She heads home when the man she loves, Lucas, shows up at her home.
He is willing to give her information about her biological father. Someone she will not want to know. How will she handle knowing that he’s a vile, evil man? Will Lucas and her family protect her from him. Twist and turns. Finding out that Lucas loves her too, she is able to trust him when she is kidnapped.
He will save her, wouldn’t he? Love the story. The characters are wonderful. Read about the love and danger of Delia and Lucas. Worth the read.

Mystery, Romance, and a "twisted" tale of love. This book will catch your attention and keep it till the end.

This has been a very good series I have thoroughly enjoyed them all, Delia who has been through a lot after finding out the man she had called papa was not her true father from a not caring mother, this shocked her and at a young age she took off to find her real father, but after years of searching with no luck Delia has matured and now has returned home to the man she knows loves her as a father should, but with everyone knowing about her illegitimacy she has no high hopes of finding love.
Lucas Raeburn has been a close family friend of the Faraday’s and has loved Delia for a very long time, but now he needs to protect her as new information has come to light about the notorious club that they have been working hard to dismantle through the last two books in the series and it appears that Delia is in grave danger.
Delia is shocked with the news that Lucas has bought to the family home and it appears that she may have finally found out who her father is but now is a time for them all to bind together and fight to keep her safe and of course this sees Delia and Lucas open up and discover that they both are very much in love and if all goes well they will be together forever.
I fabulous end to this series, or maybe not with a redemption for one of the characters with such a lovely HEA for Lucas and Delia, fast paced and action filled as the bad guys are caught and love blossoms around the danger, I do highly recommend this book and series to any romance reader who loves a bit of historical mystery in their romances.
