I love this series and was really looking forward to this one, and I was not disappointed come along and meet Francis Saunders and Captain Poppy Basden as they see if two totally different people can find love and happiness on the docks of London.

Francis is just about to take over the family shipping company from his father Charles and Francis is determined to do it well and have all of his rather large family noting how well he has done, his life at the moment is all about work and getting more contracts, but he really needs to lease the warehouse next to his, it has been empty for a long time and now when he needs it, it seems to be occupied and Francis the normally happy guy he is, is turning grumpy.

Poppy has spent her life either on the high seas or alone somewhere awaiting her father’s return, but this time she has sailed to England to take over the warehouse and the Basden Shipping Company, she knows it will not be easy after all she is a woman but she is finally going to have a home, but it seems her Viking of a next door neighbour has other plans but Poppy is never going to give up hers.

Francis and Poppy’s first meeting is not what you would expect of new neighbours but it is the start of a sensual romantic journey that had me cheering them on with wonderful food treats and a gorgeous copper bath it is not long before they are working together to plan a future. Their journey has many ups and downs that had me smiling, they are so suited to each other that love just abounds. I loved this story and I would highly recommend it and of course I am looking forward to the next one. You never disappoint Sasha Cottman.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.
