The Lion and Miss Lamb

 The Lion and Miss Lamb

Sweet Daughters of Duke St #2

Sarah Lamb grew up in an orphanage, one that was for children born of the nobility and was well educated when she is offered a position as governess for Demelza Mandevile’s twin daughters, Demelza is one of the Trengrouses and recently widowed she comes from a large family and they are attending a birthday ball at the Trengrouses estate in Cornwall when Sarah meets Endellion Trengrouse and there is an instant spark between the pair but nothing could ever become of this because of their totally different backgrounds, after all she is illegitimate or could there?

Endellion or Lion as he is known to his family has always felt he has been treated different by his father and he is very different in his colouring to the rest of his family and he has always wondered about his parentage, but when he meets the beautiful Sarah Lamb and discovers her parentage he must ask the question of his mother, because he has lost his heart to Sarah, is there a chance that they could marry and be eternally happy? Questions need to be answered.

I did love this story, I loved Lion and Sarah and the determination of Lion to ensure that he gets the woman he loves and Sarah her honesty and caring about not only her future but the Trengrouses as well had me turning the pages, it is heart-warming and beautiful and one that I highly recommend, it is part of the Sweet Daughters Series but also linked to the Trengrouse Ball series and it left me smiling.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
