This is a fabulous start to a new series and I read it in one sitting I loved George and Jane and the journey that had them uncovering an old mystery searching for a treasure and losing their hearts to each in a sensual and beautiful way, this is a great story fast paced, sensual and a must read.
The Honourable George Hawkins is the son of a London Judge and also a member of the Rogues of the Road a band of men who make their money breaking the law, they all have a specialty of their own and George has been thinking hard about his future after a mishap and he has discovered an ancient crown that he would like, this could change his life but when he meets antiquities dealer Jane Scott he finds that working with Jane is better than working alone in more ways than one.
Jane Scott has been living in in the East for many years, but she is back in England now and has a an old letter that she has deciphered and is on a mission to discover the hidden jewels, a Kings Treasure and when she meets George she knows that he is the man who can help and the man that she wants forever, but there will have to be a few changes first.
I do hope that you pick this one up and come along for the adventure of hunting treasure and seeing George and Jane fall in love so sensually, Jane is one strong and feisty heroine who knows what she wants and George, caring, loving and he wants Jane but first he must get her to trust him. This is a fabulous story it was great catching up with Harry and Alice and the other Rogues I can’t wait for the next one. I do highly recommend this one, you can’t go wrong with a Sasha Cottman story she knows how to pull a reader in with such wonderful characters and story lines not to mention the fabulous romance along the way.
