I do love a good historical and MS Redgold hit the spot with this one, a beautifully told story about a governess who had been treated badly by her last employer and she has to change her identity to get a new position with children one that she absolutely loves, I hope you pick this one up and enjoy it as much as I did.

Maude Wilmot has to take on a new name to get the position she truly wants, down in Cornwall away from London, she enjoys the journey down in the train and is happy to get this position as governess to Sir Dominic Jago’s Daughter, she is impressed with his love and caring of his daughter and the estate is beautiful close to a lots of forest where they can go butterfly catching.

Dominic Jago owns and runs the railroad down in Cornwall and is a hardworking widower with a young daughter and finding the right governess who doesn’t want to make him her husband has been hard but he is very impressed with Miss Wilmot, as is his daughter but it is not long before he is feeling a pull between them and that is the last thing he wants but you can’t deny love.

Maude soon learns that telling the truth would have been the best option, but Dominic is a fair man and with love growing between them it is not long before they are making plans for the future. This is a lovely story a fairy tale of butterflies and love and happiness and one that I highly recommend.
