This series comes to an end with such a beautiful story and I loved it, getting to know Sophia and Nicholas was a joy, come along for a sensual adventure.
Sophia Mallory married The Duke of Oldney ten years ago, she thought it was what she wanted but that changed immediately after the wedding but now she is a widow and her one year of mourning is over she is looking forward to entering society again that is until the man she hates, Nicholas Blake arrives on her doorstep and asked for help, after years with her husband and his horrible friends she comes across as the ice-queen that suited her then but maybe she should become herself again a strong independent woman with a kind heart.
Nicholas has always felt that Sophia was more than she was and after helping her and her sister out previously he now needs help with his young friend and Sophia is just the person who can help but it means she will need to mix with Oldney’s friends, but he is determined to keep her safe.
When Sophia and Nicholas are together the chemistry spikes and it is not long before they are enjoying each other’s company but there is a lot at stake and soon they are opening up to each other and Sophia learns of Nicholas’s search for his younger sister, will they be able to save Nicholas’s friend from danger and will Sophia be able to help him find his sister?
This is a fabulous story, sensual with suspense as Sophia puts herself in danger to help but her caring heart and strength will get her there and Nicholas is a fabulous hero and just who Sophia needs. I do highly recommend this one to any lover of a good historical romance.
