I loved this one as I have the rest of the stories in this series I love Scotland and going back in time to this era the heroes are strong and so loving. This is Maggie's story the McArthur Chieftain's daughter and she can hold and use a sword better than she can a needle and thread so grab a drink of choice and sit back and enjoy her story.
When Maggie gets separated from the group that she is travelling in and meets up with Dhugal Robertson although there is such a spark at their first meeting she does not realize that her life will change in such a good way she has shunned the men that her father has bought forward in the hope that she will marry but none have given her the feelings that Dhugal has.
Dhugal is a broken man in his words not through his fault but that if his uncle but he is determined to get his home back and even more so now that he has met the woman that he will love forever , this is such a great story one that will have you smiling and cheering them both on as they journey through some tough times to a drama filled HEA.
I highly recommend this story especially for lovers of historical romances.
