THE WINTER GUEST by author Pam Jenoff is Harlequin MIRA release for August 2014.
This story is set in Poland 1940 during the German invasion. Twin sisters, Helen and Ruth Nowak struggle to bring their younger siblings amid the poverty and war after their parents left.


Then Helena discovers a wounded soldier and saves him. The sisters have a falling out and Ruth in jealousy takes a step with many consequences for all of them.

THE WINTER GUEST depicts a family torn by choices in the war torn country with reality. It also is a story of jealousy, betrayal and danger for all of them by one wrong choice.

THE VICAR’S WIFE is by Katherine Swartz.


Jane Hatton goes to make a new life in a small village in England. She went there so that their children would be having a life without big city influences. And her husband wanted to go back to his land of birth. Her children needed time to settle in the new place.

Once there she is intrigued by the life of an old resident of the vicarage by reading her shopping list. She is intrigued by the life Alice.

THE VICAR’S WIFE is an intriguing story to read. It delves into the dual life of woman so many years apart. Katherine Swartz write amazing stories and this is no exception.
