Anna Campbell has again weaved a story of love with a sizzling sensual journey to a beautiful HEA with two people who in the eyes of the ton should not come together but when their bodies and minds say love then that is what it will be, this is one beautiful journey that should not be missed by anyone who loves a gorgeous romance.
Eliot Ridley, Viscount Colville is a man of the ton that never puts a foot out of line, his ambition is to in parliament and things seem to be going that way his future looks good but when he spies Lady Verena Gerard at a function he is lost, she is one person that he must get to know much better, he has never felt this way before for any woman.
Lady Verena is a widow and after a terrible marriage her time has come to do as she pleases and enjoy her life and if that means having lovers at her discretion that is what it will be and she makes the decisions when to end them, but when coming together with Eliot her heart and soul are hooked and the longer they are together the harder it is to end this very sensual affair.
Falling in love was not what either of these people wanted but that is what they did and Eliot was determined that no matter what it did to his reputation he wanted Verena as his wife but Verena didn’t want to ruin his life and she could be very stubborn for good reasons when she set her mind to it, you need to come along for this journey it will have you cheering them on and smiling.
Another sizzling story from a fabulous story teller, I never miss an Anna Campbell story for good reason they are fabulous and this one is one I would highly recommend.
