Ms Gracie writes stories that are magical the characters are so real and alive you feel like you are in The Regency era they will make you cry they will make you smile and laugh and I have never been disappointed in any of her stories MS Gracie is an auto buy author for me and they grace my bookshelves are keepers and will be read many times over.

This is a beautiful story of love courage and strength as Kate Farleigh arrives home from the war penniless and alone she grew up with her father and brothers but is a bit of a tom boy but now she needs to find work but when her late mother's God Mother Lady Cahill arrives and all but kidnaps Kate to take her to London for a season Kate is determined to stop her and tells her the truth about herself. Lady Cahill has a grandson Jack Carstairs who has been injured during the war and has locked himself away on his rundown estate and she is cunning if nothing else and puts these two together with sparks flying.

You will be turning the pages as Kate and Jack push each other to the limits the sparks are jumping of the pages as they fall deeply for each other during a journey that makes both of them open up discover feelings they thought would never emerge you will smile laugh and cry with their banter as their tempers flair and things go flying. This is a reissue and a story that should not be missed I loved it from start to finish and I highly recommend it.

5/5 Stars for an awesome story
