Fancy a trip to the highlands with a brawny highlander who knows how to wear a kilt well, then this is one to read, although part of a series it can be read as a stand- alone and you can see how this highlander meets his match in a bonny Scottish beauty.

Callum McKinnon Laird of Achnasheen has decided that it is time for peace in the glen years of feuding with The Drummonds over a forgotten reason and the loss of so many lives must come to an end and he is going to change that by kidnapping the Drummond daughter and making her his wife, this starts a battle of wills and patience, as well as huge sensual pull as Callum gets to know the feisty redhead Mhairi.

Mhairi Drummond is beautiful and been allowed to run free by her father she is known as the Rose of Bruard, so she is also a very strong willed woman and still not betrothed, when she is snatched by the bloody McKinnon and taken hostage and told that he will make her is wife, Mhairi will do what she can to escape, but all the time her heart is changing, there is a very fine line between hate and love.

This story is so very good, I loved the setting the sensual pull the love that blooms with danger and risk abounding Mhairi was nothing like Callum thought when he first took her, her spirit, strength and honesty had Callum falling for her so hard and fast I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough, and Callum he is the best hero I want him for myself. MS Campbell you have penned another fantastic tale that is sure to warm the hearts of many readers, woohoo thank you so much for my trip to the highlands with Callum and Mhairi, a story not to be missed.
